Every food business in Coimbatore needs an FSSAI food license or registration from the State Food Safety Department (FSSAI). The same FSSAI fees apply across India. The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation issues a separate trade licence for the premises, and Tamil Nadu has its own Shops and Establishments registration.
