The short answer

Your UAN is activated in the UMANG app. After that, the EPFO member portal lets you update KYC, download the UAN card, withdraw PF and transfer it to a new job.

You can check your balance in the passbook, in UMANG, by missed call or by SMS. Every step below is free and uses only official EPFO pages.

Govt License never asks for your Aadhaar number or OTP. Only download from official sites. We do not download anything for you, and you never type personal details on our site.

What is a UAN?
The UAN is the Universal Account Number from EPFO. It stays the same for life, even if you change jobs, and links your PF accounts.
Which EPFO site and app are official?
The EPFO member portal at unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in, the passbook portal at passbook.epfindia.gov.in and the UMANG app. All EPFO services on them are free.
Does EPFO ask for my OTP or money on a call?
No. EPFO never asks for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details or an OTP over the phone, and never asks you to deposit money.

UAN activation UMANG app se hota hai. Passbook, KYC, claim aur transfer EPFO member portal par hote hain. Sab free hai, kisi agent ko paise na dein.
