Track a new ration card application, or look up your card, on your state's own portal. The national site does not hold your application.

How to check the status

  1. Keep the application number or acknowledgement number you got when you applied
  2. Open your state's status page from the table below
  3. Enter the application number, or your ration card number, Aadhaar or mobile number as the page asks
  4. Read the status: pending office, approved, or the reason for rejection if shown
  5. If it shows no result, wait a day or ask your food office with the acknowledgement

Status checking works on state portals. Examples: Telangana asks for the Meeseva, application or UID number; Delhi accepts a family member's Aadhaar, the NFS application ID or the ration card number; Jharkhand asks for the ration card or acknowledgement number and your mobile number; Bihar searches by district and ration card number. Common questions

How do I check ration card application status?
Open your state food portal, find the application status page and enter the application or acknowledgement number. The links for every state are in the table.
Can I check status with Aadhaar?
Some states allow it. Delhi accepts a family member's Aadhaar number; other states use the application or ration card number.
What if my application was rejected?
Some portals show the rejection reason, for example Telangana. Fix the problem and apply again, or ask your food office.
